Dear Andrew,

As the Director Estate Planning, I would like to pass on my thanks for the quality and professional delivery ofthe presentation provided by Eric Bishop. The feed back from participants indicated it was one of the best presentations received over the three day conference.

This is directly attributable to the level of knowledge and experience Eric has gained over the years working within the Defence environment on Major Capital Projects. His professionalism throughout has represented Thiess admirably in an environment which had senior representation from all Defence Regions.

Please pass on our thanks to Eric and we look forward to a continued association with Thiess within the Defence Infrastructure Environment into the future.

RAAF Commendation

This commendation is awarded to these members of the Thiess· Contractor Team for their tireless efforts in delivering a first class facility to 1 Recruit Training Unit at RAAF Base Wagga during 2007 and 2008.

The achievement of a complex fully functioning facility within the forecast time schedule is testament to the professionalism of the team and the Unit owes them significant gratitude. The discovery of environmental waste at the commencement of the project made the completion date all the more remarkable. The team's attention to detail, ability to plan, and their customer focus have overcome the challenges of creating such a facility in the midst of a working RAAF base in spite of the climate extremes prevalent in this area....
